Many young adults in their 20’s are struggling today because there is no clear road map for life after school.  Before this time, life was structured and scheduled. You knew when to show up for class, when to do your work, and what you had to do to prepare for gratuation.

But life after school is very different.  You may currently be in a job you don’t enjoy, or simply unsure about what your destiny might be.  Should you go back to school, move to a new city, live at home for a time? And what about relationships? Dating? Meeting new people? How do you relate to your parents as an adult when you feel like they still  treat you as a child?

Sometimes the stress and pressure of these life decisions can seem like too much to handle.  Sometimes you panic because you think you have to know exactly what you want to do for the rest of your life when you’re still so young. You don’t!  It’s simply a matter of figuring out some things about yourself, being open to possibilities, and gaining the courage to take the first step — not to a ‘lifetime' career path — but to joining the workforce, learning new skills, meeting new people, making money, and learning more about what you will and won’t want to do when you make your next move.

I believe that each person is uniquely gifted to do work she loves, but the secret is first finding out who you are at your core and what your natural gifts and interests are.  In our work together, we will draw out your distinct gifts, talents, and skills; we will look at what motivates you, what makes your heart sing, what drives you crazy, and more.  As you recognize your innate strengths, you will begin to create a life well-suited to you!  So many have been where you are and have found their passion; you will too!
