A Few Ways To Add Some Sunshine To Your Day…

  1. Reminisce on your childhood! The fun photos, the embarrassing middle school outfits, the weird trends, and the lifelong memories... It can be refreshing to go through old photos, hear a song that brings you back to a specific place or is tied to a memory, or revisit a place from your past. Perhaps you’ll want to relive old memories by sending your findings to family and friends?

  2. Go barefoot. Walk over grass, dip your feet in a pool of water, walk around the house—notice your feet smacking on hardwood, then padding softly on the carpet…

  3. Hop in the car for an aimless drive and enjoy a fresh change of scenery. Who knows? You may just wind up at your favorite local ice cream stand!

  4. Lounge. Because you can! Take a nap. Enjoy the moment.

  5. Laugh! A good chuckle will lift your spirits and chase away gloominess with a clear and upbeat attitude. What makes you giggle? Do you have a favorite movie?

  6. Create an indoor oasis. Collect all of your houseplants and arrange them in the room where you spend the most time. Snip clippings off any that can spare an offshoot, and place them in water-filled empty jars.
